A: Yes, each room has a television AND high-speed WIFI computer.

Q: Can I get a private bath?
A: Yes, each room also has a private, inside bathroom with toiletries.

Q: I'd like to bring my two children. Do you a room which will suit us?
A: The Pele Suite is particularly well-suited for families. For one thing, it has two bathrooms! In addition to its King & Queen bed, it is possible to book another adjoining room with another king Bed, called the Peacock room. This suite is a special favorite for families with children, pet lovers, or young adults, especially with the two bathrooms and a separate kitchenette room.

Q: Are there restaurants nearby?
A: Yes, there are several wonderful restaurants just a few minute drive from Aloha Junction inside the Volcano Village. Some local favorites are the Thai Truck down at the end of Old Volcano Rd, the Ohelo Cafe, within walking distance, the "Cafe Ono" also at the end of Old Volcano Rd,  "Lava Rock Cafe", Thai-Thai Restaurant and the "Kilauea Lodge".  See our Restaurant List for info and directions.

Q: What else is good about Volcano Village?

A: Volcano Village is a very small town, with about 2200 people. It stretches from the 22-mile marker at Atkatsuka Orchid Farm to the Volcano Golf Course straight above the National Park.  It doesn’t have all the big town amenities like Walmart, Target, and supermarkets but it does have two gas stations, two grocery stores, several restaurants, a post office, and other small-town Farmers' Markets on Sundays and Art Galleries.  All-in-all you should be able to experience many of the basics that you need here while enjoying this rather artsy-fartsy little village. A reminder that there are only a few stores up here tho they may not meet all your wants & medical needs, so for extended stays, we suggest you plan ahead and stock up at Walmart, Longs Drug Store or Cost-U-Less in Hilo before you arrive.  Hilo is approximately 45 minutes away on Hwy 11 (N).
