POLICIES
Check-in is between 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Please check in before touring the National Park.
Late arrivals, please call to arrange for gate and remote control.
Luggage drop offs permitted with prior consent from owners. .
Check-out is before 10:00 am. Please leave keys in your door and return the gate remote to owner before leaving. There will be a $50 fee for forgotten or misplaced remotes.
Cancellations
Please notice our lenient 24 hour cancellation policy....with the exceptions of holidays and Merrie Monarch where a 6-weeks notice for cancellation is required. Within 24 hours, full charges apply, including taxes. During Holidays & other peak seasonal times- refunds will be given ONLY after a room or rooms can have been re-rented.
Pet Fees
We are Pet friendly. A Pet Fee of $25.00 will be charged for any accompanying pets at our establishment. * We have 2 friendly medium-size dogs plus numerous free-range chickens and geese. (No cats).
Messages and Mail
Messages and mail can be received through our office. We do not deliver messages unless except in cases of extreme emergency (death, accident, serious illness). After hours emergency calls should be directed to our emergency number (808) 967 7912.
Items Left At Rentals
Aloha Junction Bed and Breakfast will not be responsible for personal items left in the rooms. A $15.00 service charge and COD costs are required if you request Aloha Junction Bed and Breakfast to pick up and mail items left in the rooms. Any items found in rooms that are not claimed within 30 days will be donated to charity.
Taxes
Local general excise and transient accommodations taxes are calculated on the basis of the gross amount of rent. These taxes amount 13.42% plus a 1.58% credit card fee which are due upon arrival.

Early departure
Should it be necessary for you to depart earlier than your confirmed departure date, you will be responsible for the full amount of your booking, unless we are able to re-rent the remainder of your reservation.
Complimentary popcorn and hot tea available upon arrival.
There's still a bit more small print.... Smoking is permissible in the parking lot - just NOT inside the house or on the porches.
For your safety, we have installed smoke detectors in every bedroom. If you hear the smoke alarm, please exit the house promptly. If you hear annoying beeps, please call us to replace batteries.Quiet hours are from 11 P.M. - 8 A.M.Replacement/repair fee for damaged or stolen property will be charged to the registered guest.Complimentary flashlights, back-packs, rain jacks, and a first-aid kits available first-come, first serve basis. You are responsible for batteries, although most come equipped.
Directions if driving from HILO
- Drive down 300 ft. private road until you come to the gate
- Call Robert: 808-967-7289 and he'll arrive on his golf cart open the gate, show you where to park, and introduce you to your room and our place.
- IF you come in late, like after 6PM, please let us know in advance so can leave a gate opener in the yellow newspaper box for you.
- When using the gate opener, press the button ONE time and wait for it to open, then put it back in the box.
- Once you get to your room, your gate opener will be attached to your room key.
- Upon departure, leave your room key & gate opener in your room.
